ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is inviting local seniors to take part in a free interactive safety event aimed at helping older adults recognize, prevent, and respond to crime.
The upcoming Senior Connect Interactive Information Session, themed “Senior vs Crime,” is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Hunter’s Creek Town Hall, located at 14101 Town Loop Boulevard in Orlando.
The event is open to anyone 55 years of age and older and is being offered at no cost to participants.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the session will provide practical safety tools, real-world crime prevention advice, and information designed to help seniors feel more confident and secure in their daily lives.
The interactive program is limited to the first 100 attendees, whether they register in advance or arrive on-site while space remains available.
