Knock at the Door Ends Search for Wanted Woman in Lakeland

LAKELAND, Fla. — A 54-year-old woman wanted out of Osceola County on serious fraud-related charges is now in custody after deputies located her at a Lakeland residence.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Dawn Marie Salvati was arrested Friday morning, March 20, around 9:45 a.m., at a home on South Wabash Avenue.

Deputies say they were made aware that Salvati had an active warrant out of Osceola County for violation of probation tied to racketeering and organized fraud charges.

When deputies arrived at the residence and made contact at the front door, Salvati surrendered without incident and was taken into custody.

⚖️ Charges and Background

Authorities say the warrant stems from violation of probation related to:

  • Racketeering
  • Organized Fraud

According to investigators, Salvati also has a prior criminal history that includes:

  • DUI
  • Possession of Cocaine
  • Organized Fraud exceeding $50,000

🚔 Taken Into Custody

Salvati was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and is being held in connection with the Osceola County warrant.
