Phoenix Fire Department Mourns the Loss of Captain Luke Moran
PHOENIX, AZ — The Phoenix Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of its longtime members, Captain Luke Moran, who passed away after more than two decades of dedicated service to the community.
In an announcement shared by the department, officials described Captain Moran as a firefighter who served with professionalism, commitment, and an unwavering heart throughout his 20+ year career. He was known for his leadership, his steady presence on calls, and the deep respect he earned from those who worked beside him.
“The Phoenix Fire Department is deeply saddened to share the passing of one of our own,” the department said. “We extend our thoughts and support to his family, friends, and fellow firefighters during this difficult time.”
