🚨 Attempting to Locate Child’s Family – Haines City Police Seek Public’s Help 🚨

HAINES CITY, Fla. — The Haines City Police Department is urgently working to identify the family of a young boy found walking alone in the Lawson Dunes community, located off East Johnson Avenue.

Officers began a door-to-door search shortly after the child was discovered, speaking with neighbors, stopping vehicles entering and leaving the neighborhood, and using vehicle intercoms to make announcements. A reverse 9-1-1 alert has also been sent to nearby residents in an effort to reach the child’s family quickly.

Police say the boy appears to be around 2 years old, is in happy and healthy condition, and speaks Spanish with very little English.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in reuniting the child with his family.
