MESA, AZ — July 18, 2025, 11:00 AM A dramatic vehicle fire sent plumes of smoke over northeast Mesa late Friday morning, prompting a rapid multi-agency response to the Reflections at Red Mountain Apartments at 2601 E McKellips Rd.

Mesa Fire & Medical crews from Station 206—including a Ladder Truck and Engine—alongside Mesa Police units, were dispatched to the scene. Witnesses reported seeing dark smoke visible from miles away as responders arrived to extinguish the blaze. The fire was quickly brought under control thanks to coordinated efforts between emergency teams.
