APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. — In a heartfelt tribute to a fallen hero, the community is invited to participate in a blood drive honoring Officer Gabriel Facio on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mountain View Lutheran Church – Family Life Center Gym, located at 2122 S. Goldfield Rd., Apache Junction.
Officer Facio, a beloved husband, father, son, friend, and dedicated public servant, was tragically killed in the line of duty on June 2 while protecting the community he loved. His end of watch was recorded on June 8, 2025. Known for his unwavering commitment and compassion, Officer Facio’s memory continues to inspire those he served.
In his honor, Vitalant is hosting the blood drive, offering the community a meaningful way to give back and help save lives—just as Officer Facio did during his service.
