Eloy, AZ – Emergency crews from the Eloy Fire District responded to a serious rollover crash involving a dump truckearly this morning near Interstate 10 at Milepost 201.
According to fire officials, the crash occurred just off the interstate in a desert area, leaving the heavy-duty truck overturned and heavily damaged. Multiple units from Eloy Fire arrived on scene and immediately began rescue efforts.
One individual was located and transported to a Level-One Trauma Center for evaluation. The extent of the injuries has not been disclosed, but fire officials confirm that no other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported at the time of the response.
Photos from the scene show the dump truck's cab crushed and torn apart, with emergency personnel carefully working around the wreckage. Eloy Firefighters could be seen using tools to access the interior of the truck, while traffic along the westbound side of I-10 slowed due to emergency operations.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and it's currently unclear what led to the rollover. Weather conditions in the area were clear at the time of the incident.
