Two-Vehicle Crash Involving Amazon Flex Driver Blocks Lanes on Lindsay Road in Mesa

MESA, Ariz. — A two-car collision disrupted traffic near Lindsay Road and University Drive this afternoon, sending one woman to the hospital and leaving both vehicles disabled in the roadway.

The crash occurred around 4 p.m., involving an Amazon Flex driver and another passenger vehicle. According to officials, a female occupant from the second vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Amazon Flex driver appeared to have a noticeable limp following the collision but did not require immediate medical transport.

Because of the impact, neither vehicle was drivable, forcing emergency crews to block portions of both northbound and southbound lanes of Lindsay Road while they worked the scene.

Mesa Fire and Medical personnel initially responded and later turned the scene over to Mesa Police, who managed traffic control until tow trucks arrived to clear the roadway.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
