Two Juveniles Arrested in Connection to Shooting Near Poinciana Medical Center

Kissimmee, FL (October 17, 2025) – The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) has announced arrests in connection with a shooting that left one juvenile injured near Bonnet Creek Place earlier this month.

According to OCSO, deputies responded to Poinciana Medical Center on October 6, 2025, after a male juvenile arrived with gunshot wounds. An investigation revealed that the victim was shot during an attempted armed robbery in which two suspects — identified as Caden Zimish, 17 (DOB 06/21/2008), and Jahvon Lawrence, 17 (DOB 04/01/2008) — allegedly tried to steal the victim’s THC cartridges.

Detectives from the OCSO Violent Crimes Unit obtained arrest warrants for both suspects following the investigation. On October 16, 2025, deputies located and arrested Zimish and Lawrence without incident. Both were transported to the Orange County Juvenile Assessment Center.

Zimish faces one count of Attempted Armed Robbery with a Firearm, while Lawrence faces charges of Attempted Armed Robbery with a Firearm and Attempted Murder.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has not released additional information at this time, but the investigation remains ongoing.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office now confirms two people were injured in a Poinciana shooting Tuesday evening. The victims were shot at while in their vehicle and drove themselves to HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital, where one is being treated for gunshot wounds. Deputies said the victims’ vehicle had multiple bullet holes. Officials initially reported three injured but later corrected the number to two. The exact location of the shooting remains unclear.

KISSIMMEE, FL - Osceola County Sheriff's Office are investigating a confirmed shooting outside HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital that left three people injured Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. at HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital, located at 325 Cypress Parkway, Kissimmee, FL 34759. According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, deputies discovered a vehicle at the scene riddled with multiple bullet holes.

Officials confirmed that three individuals were injured, though it remains unclear whether they sustained gunshot wounds or other injuries during the incident. All were treated following the hospital lockdown, which was lifted later in the evening.

Witnesses reported seeing a black SUV parked near the hospital’s ambulance entrance around the time of the shooting. Investigators also noted a possible suspect vehicle described as a blacked-out Mercedes GLE, driven by a heavy-set male wearing big sunglasses and loads of gold jewelry.

The sheriff’s office has not released any information regarding potential suspects in custody. The investigation remains active.
