Residential Fire Scare in Poinciana Quickly Contained by Polk County Fire Rescue

POINCIANA, Fla. — A frightening moment unfolded Thursday night in Poinciana when Polk County Fire Rescue responded to reports of a residential fire at 110 Tulip Lane, near the area of Tulip Lane and Violet Court.

Multiple units rushed to the scene after a 911 call came in around 10:38 p.m. When crews arrived, no flames or heavy smoke were visible from the outside of the home. Fortunately, all residents, along with their two dogs, had already evacuated safely.

iSkyNews.com observed the family standing outside with their pets as firefighters worked quickly to investigate the source of the fire. According to Polk County Fire Rescue, the blaze originated beneath a kitchen stove and is believed to have been electrical in nature.

Firefighters were able to contain the situation before it spread, preventing any major damage to the home. Crews remained on scene to ensure the house was secure and the hazard fully eliminated.

Thanks to the fast response, no injuries were reported, and the family was able to return to safety. Polk County Fire Rescue is reminding residents to always check appliances regularly and evacuate immediately if they suspect fire or electrical problems in the home.
