 LOS ANGELES, CA — The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has publicly identified the suspect wanted in connection with the assault of a federal officer that occurred in Paramount, California, on June 7, 2025.

The suspect has been named as Elpidio Reyna40, of Compton, CA. Reyna is accused of assaulting a federal officer during a violent encounter over the weekend and is currently wanted by federal authorities. He is considered a fugitive and is believed to be armed and dangerous, according to an FBI statement released this week.

“Elpidio Reyna should be considered dangerous. We are asking the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings immediately,” the FBI said in a public bulletin.
