POINCIANA, Fla. — A significant law enforcement presence was reported Sunday evening in the Poinciana area as deputies with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office conducted operations near Marigold Avenue.
According to observations by iSkyNews.com, deputies established a perimeter around the area of Marigold Avenue between San Lorenzo Road and San Remo Road at approximately 6:30 p.m.
The response included at least a dozen marked and unmarked Osceola County Sheriff's Office vehicles, along with the agency's aviation unit circling overhead. Deputies were seen entering a wooded area along Marigold Avenue while the helicopter continued to assist from the air.
Throughout the evening, multiple deputies searched the wooded area. Later, law enforcement personnel were observed returning with an ATV.
The nature of the incident remains unclear. It is unknown what prompted the law enforcement response or whether anyone was taken into custody.
Around 9:00 p.m., the aviation unit departed the area and deputies began clearing the scene.
