OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Drivers traveling near Boggy Creek Road should prepare for a temporary road closure next week as construction crews continue work on a roadway improvement project in the area.

According to Osceola County, Lake Vista Drive at Boggy Creek Road will be closed from Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5 for base installation work.

County officials say the roadway will remain closed continuously during construction activities. Traffic traveling through the area will be detoured using Great Oaks Boulevard.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time while the closure is in effect.

Officials also advise both drivers and pedestrians to use caution near the work zone. Construction activity may generate noise, dust, and vibrations throughout the project area.

The county noted that the schedule could change due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
