TEMPE, AZ (iSkyNews.com) – The Tempe Police Department has released an official statement to iSkyNews.com following a federal law enforcement operation that took place this morning near Danelle Plaza.

According to the statement, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) executed a federal warrant in the area as part of a broader enforcement effort taking place across the country. The Tempe Police Department clarified that it was not involved in the operation.

“We are aware of the recent federal enforcement activity around the country. This morning, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) served and executed a federal warrant in the area of Danelle Plaza. The Tempe Police Department was not involved in this operation,” the department stated.
