TEMPE, Ariz. — Emergency crews responded overnight to a motor vehicle crash along Loop 101 near the University Drive off-ramp in Tempe, causing temporary disruptions to freeway traffic.

Fire crews were dispatched to the scene after a vehicle became disabled following the crash and was blocking or affecting freeway operations. Responders worked to secure the area and assist with traffic management while crews cleared the roadway.

The involved vehicle remained on scene for approximately one hour before being removed by a tow truck. Following the vehicle's removal, traffic conditions gradually improved and have since returned to normal.

Authorities have not released any confirmed information regarding injuries, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
