The Osceola County Sheriff's Office recently shared a heartwarming story involving a woman in her 90s who contacted 911 after her stove stopped working, leaving her unable to cook meals in her home.

While the situation was not a traditional law enforcement matter, deputies and members of the Sheriff's Office Community Services/Outreach team recognized that the caller needed assistance and immediately began looking for a solution.

After learning about the woman's circumstances, the outreach team contacted Hodgins Home Appliance in St. Cloud. The local business quickly stepped forward and generously donated a replacement stove to help the senior regain a vital part of her daily routine.
