Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Mesa Crash Near Higley Road and Fountain Street
MESA, Ariz. — A serious motorcycle crash left a rider in critical condition Friday evening near the intersection of Higley Road and Fountain Street in Mesa, according to dispatch information.
Emergency crews responded to reports of a collision involving a White SUV and a motorcycle. Upon arrival, the motorcyclist was found unresponsive, suffering heavy bleeding and not breathing. CPR was initiated at the scene as first responders worked to stabilize the patient.
The rider was transported to Banner Desert hospital in critical condition. The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
Motorists were urged to use caution in the area as emergency personnel worked the scene.
