Employment Immediately Reported

While processing Pohl into the Polk County Jail, booking staff recognized from his employment records that he worked for CFG Health Systems, the company contracted to provide medical care inside Polk County detention facilities.

Sheriff Grady Judd said Pohl's arrest ended his ability to work inside the jail.

"He was familiar with our jail as a contracted nurse. Today, he's seeing it from the other side of the bars," Judd said. "We expect everyone who works with our agency to obey the law.
