OnlyFans Creator Sentenced to Federal Prison After Earning $5.4 Million, Failing to Pay $1.5 Million in Taxes

TAMPA, Fla. – An OnlyFans content creator who federal prosecutors say earned more than $5.4 million through social media has been sentenced to one year in federal prison after pleading guilty to filing a false tax return.

Kylie Perez, also known by her stage name “Natalie Monroe,” was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Thomas P. Barber to one year in federal prison followed by one year of supervised release, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida.

Perez pleaded guilty on May 20, 2026.

Prosecutors Say Creator Earned More Than $5.4 Million

According to court documents, Perez operated as a content creator under the name Natalie Monroe on OnlyFans, a subscription-based platform where creators can earn money through subscriptions, pay-per-view content and tips.

Federal prosecutors say Perez earned more than $5.4 million from her social media accounts between 2019 and 2023.

Despite those earnings, investigators say Perez engaged in a scheme to evade the assessment and payment of federal income taxes.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Perez filed a false tax return for the 2019 calendar year and failed to pay at least $1.5 million in taxes owed for 2020 through 2023.

“Evading the payment of owed income tax is a violation of our federal tax laws,” U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe said. “We will continue to prosecute those who purposely commit these crimes.”

IRS Criminal Investigation: “Personal Luxury” Came Before Taxes

The case was investigated by IRS Criminal Investigation, whose Florida Field Office emphasized that substantial online earnings carry the same federal tax obligations as income earned through more traditional businesses.

“When someone chooses personal luxury over meeting their tax obligations, the consequences are inevitable,” said Ron Loecker, Special Agent in Charge of IRS Criminal Investigation’s Florida Field Office.

Loecker said IRS Criminal Investigation special agents will continue working to uncover tax crimes and protect the integrity of the federal tax system.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Merrilyn E. Hoenemeyer.

Perez will serve 12 months in federal prison followed by one year of supervised release.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced the sentencing as the Department of Justice continues broader federal efforts targeting fraud and the misuse of taxpayer funds.
