UPDATE: 10:00 AM EST (MAY 13TH) - Last night the victim in this shooting died at Osceola Regional Hospital.
26-year-old Timothy James Meyer (12/7/1999) was pronounced deceased at 10:07 pm.
The charges for the suspect in this case have now been upgraded to 2nd degree Murder. 53-year-old Raul Perez was just served with the upgraded charges at the Osceola County Jail._____
UPDATE 10:00 PM EST - Detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office have made an arrest in the shooting from early this morning.
At 4:53 am, Osceola County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a shooting. Deputies responded to 7735 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy to the Extended Stay Suites. A 26-year-old male was located with a gunshot wound and was transported to Osceola Regional hospital, where he remains in critical condition. 53-year-old Raul Perez (7/19/1972), Kissimmee was arrested and charged with attempted murder. He was booked into the Osceola County Jail with no bond. This shooting remains under investigation.
UPDATE: 12:00 PM EST - The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has reached out to iSkyNews.com with an update. The male shooting victim remains in critical condition at Osceola Regional Hospital. Detectives are still interviewing an adult male, that was involved in this shooting incident. OSCO is not currently looking for any suspects.

Morning Shooting at Kissimmee Extended Stay Leaves One Critical
KISSIMMEE, FL — Authorities are investigating an early morning shooting that left a man fighting for his life on Tuesday.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding a shooting at 4:53 a.m. Deputies arrived at the Extended Stay Suites, located at 7735 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, where they discovered a male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
- The victim was immediately transported to Celebration Hospital in critical condition.
- An adult male is currently being interviewed by deputies in connection with the incident.
- Investigators have confirmed the scene is secure and stated there is no immediate threat to the public.
Yellow police tape cordoned off a portion of the parking lot as forensic teams collected evidence throughout the morning. While one individual is being questioned, officials have not yet released information regarding potential charges or the motive behind the violence.
