Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash in Brevard County Leaves One Dead, Three Seriously Injured

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A tragic crash involving four pickup trucks early Friday morning left one man dead and sent three others to the hospital with serious injuries.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 6:24 a.m. on September 26 at Beach Road and Titusville Road. Investigators say a 63-year-old man from Cocoa was driving a 2017 Chevy Silverado westbound when, for reasons still under investigation, he veered into the eastbound lane.

The Silverado first sideswiped a 2017 Ford F-250 driven by a 60-year-old man from Liberty, Tennessee, who was not hurt. The pickup then continued forward, striking a 2025 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by a 51-year-old Clewiston man, and a 2011 Ford F-250 carrying a 60-year-old Titusville man and his 56-year-old passenger from Mims.

The Cocoa driver, who troopers say was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the Dodge Ram and Ford F-250, along with the passenger, were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
