AirCare Launched for 3-Year-Old Child Following Drowning in Kissimmee

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Emergency crews from Osceola County responded Friday evening to a reported drowning involving a 3-year-old child in Kissimmee, prompting the launch of an AirCare medical helicopter due to the child’s condition.
The incident was reported at a residence in the 7800 block of Palmilla Court. Osceola County Fire Rescue and the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, where CPR was initially reported to be in progress.

Orlando Health AirCare was launched due to the seriousness of the child’s condition as emergency personnel worked to provide lifesaving care.
According to updated information obtained by iSkyNews.com, when Osceola County deputies arrived at the scene, they were able to get a pulse on the child, who was also breathing.
The child was subsequently transported by helicopter to Arnold Palmer Hospital. Their current condition remains unknown.
Additional details surrounding the circumstances leading up to the drowning have not yet been released.
