Oklahoma Man Charged After Allegedly Threatening to Kill Federal Agents on YouTube

McLoud, Oklahoma A 30-year-old Oklahoma man is facing federal charges after authorities say he repeatedly posted violent threats on YouTube, including threats to kill federal law enforcement officers.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, a federal criminal complaint has been unsealed charging Taylor Ryan Prigmore, 30, of McLoud, Oklahoma, with communicating threats through interstate commerce.

Court records state that on January 17, the Federal Bureau of Investigation received information from Google about several threatening comments made by a YouTube user believed to be Prigmore. Investigators say the account posted multiple comments between May 9, 2025, and January 17, threatening to kill U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and other individuals.

Authorities allege that Prigmore left at least eight threatening comments in just the past week, openly expressing a desire to kill federal agents. Court documents further state that he also threatened to kill any law enforcement officers who came to his residence, saying he would kill “as many as possible.”

Attorney General Pamela Bondi addressed the case in a statement, emphasizing that threats against law enforcement will be taken seriously.

“As attacks on law enforcement rise around the country, this Department of Justice will continue to identify and prosecute violent threats against the brave men and women who keep us safe,” Bondi said. “Hiding behind a screen will not protect you from severe legal consequences.”

FBI Director Kash Patel echoed that message, warning that online threats will not go unchecked.

“If you threaten to harm law enforcement officers, the FBI and our partners will find you and hold you accountable,” Patel said. “There will be no free passes for threats against the hard-working men and women who wear the badge and protect our communities.”

Prigmore was charged by federal complaint on January 19 and arrested by the FBI the same day. He appeared before a U.S. Magistrate Judge in the Western District of Oklahoma and was ordered detained pending trial. If convicted, he faces up to five years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

The investigation was conducted by the FBI Oklahoma City Field Office’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Arvo Mikkanen and Matt Dillon.

Officials stressed that a criminal complaint contains allegations only, and that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
