Single-Vehicle Rollover on Loop 202 Sends One to Hospital
Mesa, AZ — A rollover crash early Sunday morning left one man injured after his vehicle overturned on the Loop 202 westbound near the Loop 101 interchange.
The call was dispatched around 8:00 a.m. as a single-vehicle rollover with reports that the driver was trapped and bleeding from the face. Mesa Fire and Medical crews, along with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS), responded to the scene.
Firefighters extricated and triaged the man before paramedics transported him to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Traffic in the area was slowed during the response.
