Young Rider Killed in Fatal High-Speed Motorcycle Crash on Power Road in Mesa

Mesa, AZ — March 25, 2025 — Mesa Police are investigating a deadly crash that claimed the life of 18-year-old Logan Bann on Monday evening near Power and McDowell Roads.
According to authorities, the collision occurred when a Ford F150 attempted to make a left turn into a parking lot and struck Bann, who was riding a dirt bike-style motorcycle. Officials say Bann was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, but the bike did not have a headlight, which may have contributed to the incident.
Bann was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been announced at this time. Mesa Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.

Mesa, AZ – According to the Mesa Fire & Rescue, a young male motorcyclist is dead following a fatal crash Monday evening on Power Road, just south of McDowell Road, in front of the L.A. Fitness in Mesa.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:50 p.m., when a motorcycle traveling northbound on Power Road collided with a full-size pickup truck. According to the Mesa Fire and Medical Department, the call was upgraded to a 2-1 medical response due to the severity of the crash.
Mesa Police officers were first on the scene and immediately began chest compressions on the motorcyclist until Mesa Fire personnel arrived. Despite lifesaving efforts, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses on site described the motorcycle traveling at speeds exceeding 90 miles per hour just moments before the crash. The identity of the victim has not been officially released, but he is described by witnesses as a young male in his 20s, possibly younger.
Mesa authorities have not yet provided additional information, and the investigation remains active. Drivers were urged to avoid the area during the evening hours as emergency crews worked the scene and conducted traffic control.
