Teen Fatally Shot in Phoenix Sparks Homicide Investigation

PHOENIX, Ariz. — Phoenix Police are investigating a deadly shooting that claimed the life of a teenager in Phoenix earlier this month.

On March 5, 2025, just after 6:00 p.m., patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting near 14000 North 32nd Street, in the area of 32nd Street and Thunderbird Road. When officers arrived at the scene, they found juvenile victim Sean Ochoa suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Sean Ochoa was rushed to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

According to investigators, several individuals were present during the time of the shooting but fled the area before police arrived. At this time, the suspect remains unknown.

Detectives are actively working the case and are urging anyone with information to come forward to help bring justice to Sean Ochoa and his family.

The investigation remains ongoing.
