Mesa, AZ — On Saturday evening, March 29, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Mesa Fire & Rescue responded to reports of an assault at the intersection of N St. Paul and E Decatur Street in northeast Mesa.


According to witnesses, a large party in the neighborhood turned violent, resulting in multiple individuals being assaulted. Mesa Police and Fire Rescue units responded with a significant presence.


Upon arrival, Mesa Fire evaluated several people at the scene but determined no one required transport to the hospital. Mesa Police remained on-site conducting interviews and gathering witness statements from those involved.


A nearby neighbor told iSkyNews he was outside when he heard the party escalate, followed by shouting and a stream of police vehicles arriving with lights and sirens.


The scene has since been cleared, and the roadway is fully open. No arrests or hospitalizations were reported as of this time.
