Outlaws MC Member Opens Fire on I-4 in Florida
Tampa, FL — A harrowing encounter unfolded on Interstate 4 in the early hours of April 6th, as a St. Petersburg man narrowly escaped injury after a motorcyclist fired multiple rounds at his vehicle.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the incident occurred around 2:28 a.m. A 34-year-old driver of a Honda CR-V was traveling westbound on I-4, just west of Interstate 275, when he noticed several motorcyclists operating erratically along with another unidentified vehicle.
The driver began filming the group with his cell phone when one of the motorcyclists, riding adjacent to the victim’s vehicle, brandished a handgun and fired several shots. Multiple rounds struck the Honda CR-V (as seen in the image below), but miraculously, the driver was not injured.
The shooter is described as a white male with a medium build, wearing a jacket marked with the Outlaws MC logo, a notorious motorcycle club. Surveillance images captured during the incident provide a clearer view of the suspect:
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding this dangerous incident to step forward. Witnesses or anyone who recognizes the suspect or motorcycle gang are asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol by dialing FHP (347) or reach out to Crime Stoppers at **TIPS.
