Pasco County, FL — A tragic crash claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Pasco County on Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

On April 13, 2025, around 9:10 a.m., a 38-year-old man from Land O’ Lakes was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on Pasco Road at a high rate of speed. Authorities say that just north of State Road 52, the rider failed to navigate a curve in the roadway.

The motorcycle left the pavement and collided with a light pole, causing serious injuries. The rider was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
