Motorcyclist Injured in Crash with Sedan on Lindsay Road in Mesa
Mesa, AZ — At approximately 9:00 p.m. tonight, a motor vehicle accident involving a sedan and a motorcycle dirtbike occurred at the intersection of N. Lindsay Road and Decatur Street.
According to Mesa Fire & Medical, both vehicles collided while the motorcycle was in motion. The driver of the sedan was uninjured, while the motorcyclist sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
Northbound Lindsay Road was temporarily shut down just north of University Drive while Mesa Fire & Rescue and Mesa Police responded and secured the scene. As of 11:35 p.m., the roadway has been fully reopened and the motorcycle has been cleared by tow.
Authorities have not released the names of those involved, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
