Mesa, AZ — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a late-night theft at a local Chevron gas station.
The incident took place at the Chevron located at 5151 E McKellips Rd, Mesa, AZ 85215. According to store staff, the suspect backed their vehicle up near the store’s entrance late one night, casually walked in, and made off with over $200 worth of gas cans—all without paying a cent.
The theft was swift and deliberate, and the suspect left the scene before anyone could intervene. Surveillance footage is currently being reviewed, but officials are urging anyone who may have seen something or who can help identify the suspect to come forward.
