The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Moderate Risk (Level 4/5) for severe weatheron Wednesday, April 2, 2025, across parts of the Mid-Mississippi Valley, Lower Ohio Valley, and extending into North Texas and the ArkLaTex region.

Strong to intense tornadoes
Very large hail (potentially baseball-sized or larger)
Damaging wind gusts exceeding 70 mph
Flash flooding in localized areas
🕒 TIMING:Severe storms may begin in the afternoon and continue through the overnight hours, with the most dangerous weather expected after 6 PM CDT.
